PHILOLOGICAL COMMENTARY

If a City 2, 277 mistakenly numbers this omen 52' in the translation, while it is *38.51' in the score section (285).

K 03726+ iii 29 is associated with this omen because, like Sm 0472+, it has a MA following the name of the animal. Since the rest of the omen is largely broken on both manuscripts, this placement is to a certain degree speculative.

Note that the broken sign following MA in Sm 0472+ is not DIŠ, as it might be expected following 38.51'.
