PHILOLOGICAL COMMENTARY

In If a City 2, 282, *38.12, Ex(1), K 03726+ ii 42 is assigned to 38.12. Upon collation it has been assigned to this omen. If a City 2 reads DIŠ M[IN at the beginning of K 03726+ ii 42 and interpret this line as a new omen. The two signs, however, are not there.

Note that K 06315+ 1' was left unplaced in If a City 2.

The association between protasis and apodosis in this omen seems to be that the presence of animals in the abandoned house indicates a return of life into it. See also 38.60'.
