PHILOLOGICAL COMMENTARY

If a City 2, 276, n. 37', remarks that Ex(1) (= K 03726+) has […] E2 NA [… Š]UB-e E2. It is unclear which line If a City 2 refers to; in the score for this line, the transliteration is the same as it is given here. On the manuscript, this line is broken, but the traces are compatible with the transliteration given here (collated).

In If a City 2, this omen (*38.37') is followed by a sequence of nappillu omens (*38.38'-53'). Collation has revealed the first three omens of the sequence in the previous edition (*38.38'-40') to be only two omens: *38.40' in If a City 2, 284 is in fact part of *38.39'. They have been placed at the end of the nappillu sequence, here 38.48'-49'. See, for more details, the comments to 38.48'-49'.
