PHILOLOGICAL COMMENTARY
  • The reconstruction of GÁL ‘to be’ in the apodosis is a suggestion based on the subject being INIM ‘word, message’. Another plausible reconstruction would be ŠUB, which would result in the translation ‘a negative message [will arrive] in the m[an’s] house.
