PHILOLOGICAL COMMENTARY
  • The difference between the above omen and 32.A.45 lies in the subject of the apodoses: the Assur omen has É ‘house’ instead of NA ‘man’.

This difference likely explains why If a City 2 (186, 32.48) reconstructs the above omen with É and translates (187, 32.48) the apodosis using ‘house’. The hand copy cleary shows NA.
