PHILOLOGICAL COMMENTARY
  • The remnants of the protasis are too fragmentary to be certain, but we suggest reconstructing the protasis as ‘If a lizard falls onto a man involved in a lawsuit’. See for example 32.A.34 and 32.S.35 as both have protases in which a man is involved in a lawsuit and apodoses with favorable legal outcomes. Lawsuits can also occur in apodoses: 32.N.29’ and 32.A.8’.
  • The signs run over onto the manuscript’s edge.
  • Line K 10792 2’ is read by If a City 2 (205, n. 17’) as
