  • See 32.S.3 for a discussion on the confusion between būdu 'shoulders' and pūtu 'forehead'.
  • See also 32.S.18. The main difference between the two omens is the use in the Sultantepe omen of bu-­di ‘shoulder(s)’ instead of pu­-ut ‘forehead’ in the protasis and the omission of NA BI ‘that man’ in the apodosis.
