<p>In our interpretation, <em>kùr-ru</em> represents the beginning of the apodosis. An alternative reading of the two signs following E<sub>11</sub>.MEŠ is GUR-<em>ru</em>, <em>iturrū</em>, belonging to the protasis and referring to the blister beetles: 'if blister beetles … climb up the walls ...
