PHILOLOGICAL COMMENTARY

The difference between the numbering of this omen in the present edition and in If a City 2 (283, *38.20') is due to the fact that collation has shown that the omen about a blister beetle stinging a man is to be placed as 38.18', while If a City places it close to the end of the UR.ME section as *38.29': see the comment to 38.17'-18'.
