PHILOLOGICAL COMMENTARY
Collation of K 03726+ ii 49 has allowed us to correct the reading of the protasis verb from E11 (If a City 2, 283, *38.17, Ex(1)) to KU4. The new reading shows that the line is a duplicate of BM 30427 6 and K 06315+ 2', which in the previous edition were placed close to the end of the UR.ME section (284, *38.28', Ex(5) and Ex(2), respectively). The present omen is therefore composed of lines which If a City 2 considered to belong to two separate omens. See also the comment to 38.18'.
If a City 2, 283, 38.17, Ex(1) connected two different lines, K 06315 6’ (Ex(2)) and BM 30427 4 (Ex(5)), to K 03726+ ii 49. Collation has revealed that K 06315 6’ is omen 38.19’ and BM 30427 6 is 38.20’.
