PHILOLOGICAL COMMENTARY
  • The apodosis’s verb has been reconstructed from 32.A.13; see also the commentary there for the differences in what the man acquires in the apodosis. In other omens’ apodoses, NÍG.TUK appears with the verbs (w)aṣābu ‘to increase’, ruppušu ‘to expand’, or rašû ‘to have; to acquire’. Any of them are also possible reconstructions above.
