PHILOLOGICAL COMMENTARY
  • Manuscripts K 09057.1 and K 09057.2 are two fragments that constitute parts of an originally four-column manuscript. On the obverse, the smaller fragment, K 09057.1, has been placed at the top of column ii with the larger K 09057.2 stretching over columns i and ii below it. This placement leaves gaps in the original manuscript’s omen sequence as the two fragments do not physically touch.
  • Almost all of K 09057.1 i is broken away. There only remains slight traces of the end of apodoses. These traces are too fragmentary to place, but have been included with the lizard omens as K  09057.2 i (the continuation of the column) preserves lizard omens.
