PHILOLOGICAL COMMENTARY
  • The signs IGI? lu? are written where two fragments of the manuscript join together. Collation shows traces of a vertical wedge and a possible horizontal wedge. Although it is damaged, the sign KU4 is visible. The signs IGI? lu? are omitted in If a City 2 (170, 32.60’) and so KU4 ‘to enter’ remains as the only verb in the protasis:

If a lizard enters the furniture of a man’s house–abandonment of the house.
