<li>This portion of K 02708+ is abraded so that a reading is difficult.</li>
<li>While we follow <em>If a City </em>2 (193, 32.56’, A ii) in emending KI to form KI.TA ‘below’, the traces of the sign after <KI>.TA do not fit with <em>If a City </em>2's reading -<em>nu. </em>Collation of K 02708+ <em>ii</em> 7’ shows the heads of three diagonal wedges. We therefore read ˹KUR˺. The reading -<em>nu </em>in <em>If a City </em>2 appears to have based on <a href="https://tieromina.acdh-dev.oeaw.ac.at/omens/Omen-32-A-58/tei">32.A.58</a> and <a href="https://tieromina.acdh-dev.oeaw.ac.at/omens/Omen-32-S-75/tei">32.S.75</a>, whose protases are very similar to the above omen:</li>

<p style="margin-left:47px">The traces on K 02708+, however, simply do not allow for the reading -<em>nu.</em></p>
<p style="margin-left:48px">Further, in a comment on <a href="https://tieromina.acdh-dev.oeaw.ac.at/omens/Omen-32-A-58/tei">32.A.58</a>, <em>If a City </em>2 (182, n. 119’) states that the 32.N.56' has the signs ŠU LUGAL (see also next comment). This simply does not reflect the state of the manuscript.</p>
<ul>
<li>The reading in <em>If a City </em>2 also omits the traces of a sign on the right-hand break, after BI. The traces reveal three closely-spaced, diagonal wedges. We suggest a possible reading of DÙG to form DÙG.GA ‘to be happy’. Meanwhile <em>If a City </em>2 (170, 32.56') uses <a href="https://tieromina.acdh-dev.oeaw.ac.at/omens/Omen-32-S-75/tei">32.S.75</a> to reconstruct the above omen’s apodosis.</li>
