PHILOLOGICAL COMMENTARY
  • The reading of the second sign as ˹ši˺ has been taken from KAL 1 (16-17, Rs. 44’ A44’) as the photograph is difficult to discern. Similarly the final sign of MAN-ni is also from KAL 1.
  • The placement of the dash to indicate the beginning of the apodosis is somewhat arbitrary as the signs are damaged.
